so, things have been busy around here. between tending to hens, managing the garden, drawing pictures and taking advantage of austin in the spring … whew!
i’m excited to take part in the fairly-new “austin flea.” it’s an event where creative types gather and sell their goods. everything from children’s clothes to cactus gardens in vintage ceramics will be for sale. this round is held at the ever-so-swanky venue the highball. it’s in the neighborhood so we frequent it for bowling, drinks, nibbles and music. it’s all original, vintage inside and they have crooners and jazz bands play. for the austin flea they’ll have tables and booths set up for local vendors, including myself. we went to the last austin flea and i was very impressed with the level of talent and creativity these people brought.
i’ve been printing new handgun shirts and “gunsies” to sell, as well as stationery, block drawings and pistol illustrations of various sizes. if you are in austin april 23, come to the austin flea and say hello!
